About Falcons' Closet

As you know, each year the needs of our school community grows yet the funding for our schools decrease.  This need sparked the idea of Falcons' Closet.  Two moms who spend lots of time at the school began to see more and more of a need.  As much as the school tried to provide for the children who needed clothing, a good pair of shoes, or a coat to keep them warm in the winter, it was just not possible to fulfill the needs of so many.  This is where Falcons' Closet was born.

Falcons' Closet was started in 2015.  We started accepting donations of gently used clothing.  The Farmer family stepped up to help their own.  When winter arrived, the need for warm coats, gloves, and hats became a much greater need.  We were very blessed when the Branson family, who own Clothes Warehouse, donated the items we needed to help the children stay warm.  As much as we have been blessed by clothing donations, it sadly does not provide the means for us to help every child in need.

In April of 2016, we held our first fundraiser.  We had a Community Yard Sale that was a huge success!  We were even able to purchase backpacks for the school to give out to children who did not have one of their own.

Our dream was to expand the Community Yard Sale into a full day of events and fun.  So here we are, welcome to Farmer May Daze!  Thank you for being a part!  We are so excited for the opportunity to help more children and families in the years to come!
